Just call me Hannah, the Bag Blogger

March 22, 2010
Haha Yes, I am a terrible blogger. Epic fail on my part. I apologize. Busy life gets in the way of other fun things. I started a second online store. So my first one is http://www.maybubbles26.etsy.com and my second one is http://www.artfire.com/users/yarnambition. In doing this I think that I am reaching more possible buyers.

Some of my finished projects lately are: Green Belted Dog Sweater (so cute!), Lime Baby Booties and Girl Booties. The baby booties are stemming from my mother (who i...

The First Rule of Knitting Club

December 30, 2009

I have recently decided that I need more yarncrafting time with my fellow yarncrafters. Since I am a single mom with not a lot of money to throw around for babysitters, I decided to have a gathering at my house once a week. I call it... Knitting Club.

First Rule of Knitting Club, you don't talk about knitting club.
Second Rule of Knitting club...

Haha just joking. But seriously if the men find out that we have a secret knitting club, they might want to start their own secret club. Like secret ...

Crazy Christmas

December 23, 2009
Well, Christmas is almost here and it's nice to be able to give and receive gifts with those we love, even spend time with loved ones we don't often see. But, I think sometimes the true reason for the season gets lost in the mix sometimes. Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby, grew up to be a man, perfect in every way (sinless) then because he loved us so much he went through a painful days-long Roman-style crucifixion. I want to post a verse from the Gospel of Luke 2:11 "For unto you is born...

What an end to my vacation!

August 31, 2009
I had an awesome summer with 2 weeks of paid vacation. And last week I was camping up at Gull Lake with my brother, my friend, and Liam. It was fun, I burned my back laying on the beach, all went well. That was... Until I got back to town and decided I needed to gas up my minivan. Well, I got out and fueled up, but when I went to get back into my vehicle, the doors were all locked, with Liam inside! AH! So, I immediately called my brother to come and help me out. Meanwhile a super nice guy ca...

Hrmm, well apparently I do a very good impression of Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. I am thinking of possible doing an audio recording of it. Totally awesome.

No adventures today, but I take possession of my new house this friday. YAY. I will post all new adventures related to that.

Leadership Summit 2009

August 8, 2009

I just got back from the Leadership Summit. What a great experience I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you're not the leader of anything, even if you're a stay-at-home mom, you should go. I took away wonderful lessons that I feel really helped me to even be a better mom. Some of the speaker's this year were: Rt. Honorable Tony Blair, Bono, Harvey Carey, David Gergen, Bill Hybels and many others. Mostly what I took away was a wonderful lesson in forgiveness and how we don't really know...

Donate Blood - Save a life

August 8, 2009

Have you ever considered donating blood? You should here are some stats for you to see why I donate as often as I'm allowed to, which is once every 56 days. Note: One unit of blood equals one donation.

Wow. What if that was your mom? Your dad? Your brother? Your sister? Your husband/wife? Your child? See it doesn't matter why you donate, all that matters is that every time you do, you help save someone who has a family and people who love them. It doesn't even hurt. It usually takes less than ...

And, as promised here are photos of my current WIP (work in progress).

Check out my ravelry website by clicking here, and you will find all the knitty gritty info like yarn weight, needle sizes I am using, etc...

haha so I am having so much fun with this. I have never knitted an entire sweater before and this certainly won't be the last. I wish I had more good friends who knitted or crocheted who I could just hang and knit with. Oh well, most of my friends have kids too and understand my lack o...

About Me

Hannah I am a single mother of one. His name is Liam, he is my pride and joy, I love him so much. He is almost 4 years old, so he is very strong-willed and rambunctious right now.
